Indian Cooking For Beginners – Part 1 

A 2-parts series on introduction to Indian cooking that will unravel the myths, secrets and many tips to cooking Indian food at home. 

In the end you will learn how to cook your own Indian meals with confidence. 

It is fun, interactive and makes Indian cooking easy!

The two part classes will include:

PART 1

  1. Introduction to Indian spices & essential cookware
  2. Make a basic spice blend
  3. Make a basic base sauce to cook different types of curries 
  4. Make Alu Matar (spicy potatoes and peas curry)

If you wish to continue the journey of learning you can join Part 2 of the series. This will include:

PART 2 

  1. Learn a different Indian cooking pattern 
  2. Make a veg or non-veg Korma dish. (ingredients will depend on your dietary requirements)
  3. Make Indian bread

Times:1600 pm – 1800 pm ( Central European Summer Time) 

NOTE – A blender for making the paste is needed for the class.

HOW IT WORKS

laptop-iconSTEP 1  Get A Tech  – For us to come to yours, all you need is a mobile phone or tablet or a laptop with a microphone, camera, and an internet connection.

List-icon-300x210STEP 2 Shop the List – We will send you a list of ingredients . You will need to buy them beforehand for the virtual Indian cooking class.

Chef-icon-STEP 3 Get CookingConnect to the video call via the link. Once connected you will be guided throughout the class as I show you the Indian cooking techniques.The end result is a home-cooked Indian food.

BONUS STEP – FEED ANOTHER FAMILY 

A while you enjoy your meal, you can feel proud about bringing food to another family in need.

Proceeds earned from the bookings go towards the UN’s Share a meal initiative, dedicated to fight hunger and provide aid to some of the largest food crises in the world.

You will be sent updates on how the donation has been used by the organisation via email.

After the cook along session, you will be sent the recipes, guide sheets and recorded video of the class for anytime reference.
