Berbere spice seasoning


Fiery berbere spice is the Ethiopian equivalent of India’s garam masala. Made primarily of cayenne peppers, berbere adds depth and heat to Ethiopian stews, meats & poultry and smoky dips. Sneak some into burgers or meatballs or use as a dip with olive oil, lemon juice, vinegar, salt and chopped olives. Hand blended from sweet paprika, bird’s eye chiles, cayenne, coriander, ginger, green cardamom, fenugreek, allspice, nutmeg, cloves, star anise. Salt free and freshly ground in house.
